How do I register for the Teacher Training Course (TTC) in The Netherlands?

Registration for the 200 hours (or 50 hours as part of the 200 hours, or any number of hours in the) TTC in The Netherlands can be done in the website. For the inscription form you can click here. please also send an email to info@yogagita.org.

When are the next blocks in the TTC in The Netherlands scheduled?

A 200 hours program in The Netherlands can be completed in 2017. Intensive programs of 50 hours will be held in 2017. The four blocks will be held from 12 to 16 October and November 9 to 13. The teachings will take place in Loenen, ashram Sada Shiva Dham.

I’m interested in following the TTC in the Netherlands, how does it work?

We divided the 200 hours Teacher Training Course in 4 blocks of 50 hours called Intensive program. Attending units in the Intensive program can lead to 50 hours of 200 hours. 2 Intensive programs are scheduled from October 12 to 16 and November 9 to 13. Is it possible to combine the TTC in India with the Intensive program in The Netherlands?

All TTC’s have the same structure. The TTC in India is a 200 hours, 4 weeks, consecutive program. The 200 TTC in The Netherlands is divided in 4 blocks of 50 hours. It is possible to start a TTC in The Netherlands and continue in India, or to start in India and continue in The Netherlands. Contact us at info@yogagita.org for more information.

Are food and accommodation included in the Course Fees?

Brunch and dinner are included in the TTC in India. For the 50 hours TTC programs in The Netherlands you can choose to book the course including food (2 meals) and accommodation, or only including food (2 meals). The programs in The Netherlands will be held in Loenen (Sada Shiva Dham). We provide your accommodation in India, these accommodations will be spread in the area of Gokulam, Mysore.

What is the temperature in Mysore?

Located in the tropics, Mysore has a moderate climate along the year with temperatures which vary from 15 degrees Celsius during night times to 32 degrees Celsius at daytime.

I wish to come to Mysore (India), to which airport do I fly?

For the courses in Mysore you can book a flight to Bangalore International Airport. The airport is also named as Bengaluru International Airport.

We can help you to book a taxi from the airport to Mysore; It is about a 4 hours drive away. Direct busses between Bangalore and Mysore can also be taken.

How can I pay for the course in India?

You can pay for the course in cash, we accept US Dollars and Indian Rupees. A well developed, governmental recognized, network to exchange foreign currency is available. In India every time withdrawal of money is done from ATM’s it comes with transaction fees. You can also make a payment through Paypal (6% charging fee extra).

Is a visa required for India?

Yes, most nationalities need a (tourist) Visa for India. Please consult your local Indian embassy.

How do I register for the Teacher Training Courses (TTC’s) in India?

What is the reasonable mode of payment for a course?

The reasonable way to pay for the course is by cash. This avoids bank fees or charges. We accept US Dollars and Indian Rupees. A well developed, governmental recognized, network to exchange foreign currency is available. In India every time withdrawal of money is done from cashmachine it comes with transaction fees. You can also make a payment through Paypal (which comes at 6% charging fee extra).

 

What is the language in which the course is taught?

All the courses of Yoga Gita are taught in English.

I am very stiff and not flexible, can i attend your course ?

With the practice of Yoga postures your body will change. You will become more flexible. By attending the course the anatomy of the body, different layers of the body and their benefits are understood.

I just start practising Yoga and I am interested to know more about Yoga, can I attend your courses?

Sure, courses are for all who are interested in the real subject of Yoga. Whether you are beginner or more experienced in any kind of Yoga style, we will guide you in understanding of Yoga in its complete form.

I don’t want to become a yoga teacher after completing the TTC, can I attend the course?

Yes, you are more then welcome to experience the science behind Yoga, also if you don’t want to become a Yoga teacher (yet).

I am a Yoga practitioner/teacher for years; will it be interesting for me to attend your courses?

Yes, you will be developing a complete understanding of Yoga for self-development or becoming a Yoga teacher on a different level.
