The 5-day Online Yoga Week by Yoga Gita Ashram began as a response to the annual celebration of the International Day of Yoga (21 June), wishing to mark this auspicious day by creating a space where the essence of Yoga could be lived and shared. From this seed, planted by the students of Sage ViGo, grew a five-day offering rooted in practice, simplicity, and online connection, reaching Yoga practitioners around the globe.
Over the years, it has become a virtual space for exploration, where Yoga is not only practiced but directly experienced in its most essential form.
What if one shift in practice

There are hundreds of benefits that could be named : vitality, stability, mental clarity, healthy relationships, inner calm… and all are indeed possible. But what we must understand is that benefits are not goals to chase, they are byproducts of alignment of the five sheaths we are made up of: physical body, life energy, mind, wisdom and soul. This 5-day Online Yoga Week by Yoga Gita Ashram is about understanding the true purpose of Yoga, and offering a glimpse into the right direction of practice, one that aligns with the deeper flow of life and supports true Self-evolution.
When the practice is authentically transmitted from the source of Indian philosophy and applied correctly on the mat, the benefits naturally unfold, transforming your life. Health, joy, resilience, and connection cease to be distant goals but become the natural expressions of a life in alignment.
