The purest form of life

There is a way of living where life can be expressed and experienced in its purest form. Purest form in the sense: beyond any mediums, beyond any memories, beyond any language, beyond conclusions or experiences, just in pure presence. If you can be in touch with what is, that is being with truth.

Pure presence

Beyond sense perception

Can you exist in the most possible purest form?
When detachment from particularities happens, the state of being with truth naturally unfolds. Nothing in particular you perceive, no memory bothers, no illusions or imaginations disturb. What Patanjali calls citta vritti nirodhah, the citta (mind) is not bothered by any vritti (thought waves). Shankaracharya calls it nissangatvam. Nissang means you are not identifying the happening of life with any particularity.
Truth is what is. Be with what is. That means you don’t need to be with what you hear, touch, or see. Can you be beyond sense perception? Senses are required. If you are walking in the street, your senses speak and make you understand the truth of traffic. If you are walking in the forest, your senses make you understand the truth of trees. If you are swimming in the ocean, the truth of the ocean. The same senses that perceive traffic, trees, or the ocean, let them make you understand the truth of the Self. Senses, instead of perceiving external stimulations, place the internal expression in this creation. As you are in the forest, in traffic, or in the ocean, can you be with your true Self?

Being with the true Self

Experience transforms

Being with truth is a continuous process. Everybody thinks they are with the truth. That’s why it’s not easy to change anyone. Only experience changes a person. No words, readings, or talks, only experience. If you are experiencing the car in traffic, you experience the driving. Anybody can talk for hundreds of years about driving, but what you experience while driving, that’s ultimate. By showing a picture of a forest, you may experience it to some extent, but once you walk by yourself in the forest, no experience can replace that. Because that’s what forest is, you are with it.

In the same way, if you wish to experience the Self, you have to be with the Self and experience it. Every spiritual practice is to make you experience the true Self. Why is that experience required? Because that is the basic program which gets manifested into everything around us. If you wish to see the star, you have to look at the sky. By closing the door inside, you will never be able to experience the star. In the same way, if you wish to experience the Self, you have to dive to the Self. Because out of that Self, everything manifests.

Expressing the true Self

Oneness beyond difference

If you know your Self, you know the Self of each and every bit of this creation, because Self of you and me, all are same. The mind, which is continuously programmed through separations and differences, has to be reprogrammed, substituted by oneness. You should know the difference; you need to experience the differences as long as you are living in association with nature. You should differentiate between your car and the next car, you should differentiate between red light and green light, you should differentiate between ocean and the shore.

This program is continuous and very strong. It has happened for millions, millions of births. The mind has strongly been programmed to experience the differences, which is reflected as ego. Experiencing differences is essential to navigate the world, but the more you feel different from others, the more ego is boosted. The program of separation must be substituted by the program of oneness.

From separation to oneness

This is the solution to all problems, personal, general, or social. For every problem, the solution is in experiencing oneness. That is the greatness of meditation. Why is it like this?

Life reflects the Self

Life is a manifestation of your own Self. In dreams, you experience different realities, but they reflect your state of mind. What you dream is the manifestation of your own state of mind. In the dream your friend may be there, you may be driving a car, swimming, everything is possible. Multiple dimensions of possibility, that is the truth of creation. Because creation has no restriction. Your friend may be sleeping next to you, and still appear in your dream. In the same way, this multidimensional reality, it all manifests when we carry our journey on this planet. And everything appears as real. That’s what Shankaracharya calls maya, or illusion. The same Shankaracharya, nissangatvam

Whatever any particularity, particularity in the sense the differences, we all have a common platform, a common source, where we have a possibility to know the ultimate truth, the absolute truth, from where everything gets manifested. If you are able to touch that source, the point of manifestation of life, and if you have a very celebration-filled, healthy-based life, what dreams you have will be healthy dreams. If you don’t have any fear in you, there will be no fear in the dreams. If you don’t have any desires in reality, there will be no desires in the dream. If you are happy and celebrating genuinely in the mind, you will be happy and celebrating in the dreams. Who you are at the mind state gets reflected in the dreams.

In the same way, who you are at the Self gets reflected in the unfolding of life. This unfolding of life, whether it is personal, general or social, whatever you call it, is who you are at the Self. To spend time with the Self means not being guided by illusions, teachings, past, or future, but just your own journey with your own Self. Nothing can substitute there. And it should not be substituted by anything if your wish is this. Tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam. That’s what Patanjali speaks in the beginning of his Sutras. Then only the real Self is expressed. And from there, you understand what life is, why you behave in a certain way, why you feel pain, complaints, or joy. Every solution is there when you are with the source.

True transformation

If you want to change your life, don’t try to change the manifested part. Transformation happens only when you touch the source of manifestation. That purity is freedom, love, oneness, spirituality. That purity is you, me, animals, ocean, everything. If you align to that every day, it’s enough. You don’t need to do anything else to transform your life.

The eternal journey

This journey towards truth is not just for those who sit in spiritual sessions. Every living thing is making this eternal journey. You drive, swim, travel… to find something, to reach the source from which everything gets manifested. You may say: I don’t have time to meditate. That means you don’t have time for your own Self-expression. You may go swimming, play sports, go on outings with friends, your schedule may be full for months, and yet you may say you don’t have time to meditate. That means you are ready to spend your lifetime for an implemented program. Every action demands a particular way from you. Even if you walk in the street you may be free to walk anywhere, but you are not totally free. You have to behave in one or the other way, in a particular way. That particularity will continuously bother you. But that total freedom, that Self-expression, that is true living.

All is moving towards the Self

Whatever you do, whether lying, desiring, meditating, walking, all are expressions of the Self. Everyone is making a journey towards Self-expression. A butcher who is cutting animals by expressing violence is making a journey towards non-violence by liberating his conditionings. Some are shedding karmas, some are accumulating, but all are moving towards the Self.

If you are adding more and more karmas, then also you are moving towards the Self. Mainly because the more you add the karmas, the more you have to feel your journey in the experience field, meaning you have to interact more with nature. The more you interact with nature, it pushes you towards consciousness. It’s always like that. That’s why the more you travel, the more you understand. In the end, who am I, why am I travelling? Even if you speak to people who travel for eight years, ten years, fifteen years, twenty years, they tell you: I need a center, now I understand who I am. After travelling, I am able to come out of my anger. After travelling, I was able to come out of my holdings. This travelling expanded my Self. So through that, you are interacting. Through interaction with nature, you evolve.

The more imprints you have, the more you interact with nature, and that interaction pushes you towards consciousness. Lesser the imprints, easier the life. So in the end, in both ways you will be, through the way of struggle, through the way of imprints, making a journey. Maybe a slower journey, maybe a struggle journey, but towards the Self. With the lesser imprints, you are becoming Self itself.

A multidimensional consciousness

This whole creation is sculpturing millions of possibilities of experiencing the Self. Because that is the depth of consciousness. It is multidimensional. It needs to experience itself. Duality is in front of us; non-duality is the truth within us. Not only this planet, there are countless galaxies.

Different programs, same consciousness

On some planets there may be liquid methane as ocean. Some may have no gravity. Infinite richness of consciousness. Life manifestation follows different physical laws and programs, yet all are expressions of the same consciousness. Even scientists find different manifestations of life across galaxies, planets, with different laws of nature. Every possibility is creation.

Touch the expression program

The ultimate aim of life is not to struggle with outer interactions. What you perceive is a symbolic representation, which indicates you are here, you are alive, you have this possibility called life. Beyond perception, if you touch the expression of the Self, that is true transformation. To transform this perception program into the expression program, there lies the key to peace. That is the key for celebration, that is the key for easiness, simplicity. If you are able to do this, every word of Patanjali Yoga Sutra, every word of the Bhagavad Gita, every word of the Upanishads falls in line.

One truth, many expressions

One truth expressed in different words, because understanding should happen multidimensionally. That totality of Self-expression, towards that, when you make steps in life, that is the true journey of living.
